Daily Ideas - Starting Your Day with Inspiration in the Modern Era 13-01-17

How to start your day when our lives are so rushed and stressed to still feel inspired throughout the day. Well this is how I started my day today:
I woke up, lay there for about 30 seconds with my focus on breathing deeply and slowly while allowing the memories of my dreams to come back as much as possible.
I pick up my tablet, open notes and write down my dreams adding them to the writings of previous dream sequences from the night. i tend to inverse the colours on my iPad for nighttime so the bright light doesn't hurt my eyes when writing my dreams during nighttime and first thing in the morning. I then plug my computer into my speakers and put some frequencies shown to help the brain enter new states of consciousness as well as train it for those states. These are called binaural frequencies, check them out. The one I put on to help me start my day is "432 Hz - Raise Vibration & Cleanse Negative Energy | Theta Binaural Beat | Soul Connection Music", this one has a great slow rising beat and angelic synth sounds that really get me going.
As I'm already on my tablet, as many of us, I open up my PERSONAL email address, NOT WORK. On my personal email address I'm subscribed to several newsletters with positive boosts to your day such as Prevention.com, Well.org, the Transition Network, Food Matters, Gaia.com etc. The first email I open up is Prevention's recommendation of 6 morning stretches to help start your day.
I do these, holding each stretch for 10 breaths this takes me just over 5 minutes and I can just feel how stiff my body is this morning from the cold and cycling yesterday evening in the slushy snow-rain. This encourages me to stretch more and I mentally remind myself to do a similar sequence the following morning as well as do some more spinal Qi Gong if I can make time for it today. Short term ideas and goals people! Today, and maybe tomorrow morning, not "I will do this every day of my life" and then when I don't remember tomorrow, I feel failure and tense up around even the idea of stretching again.
Now I'm ready to get up, feed my cat and myself and carry on with the rest of my day!

Don't forget eating a nutrient, antioxidant and slow burning power-grain breakfast! I had berry granola with banana, jumbo oats, strawberry, chia seeds, flax seeds, walnut halves, desiccated coconut, shelled hemp seeds, cocoa nibs, hemp, coconut and almond milk! All organic of course!
